This decade saw the introduction of the Axis Lock, an ambidextrous locking mechanism since featured in many Benchmade models.

CBZ Files
These are renamed zip files containing collections of images. You can browse them directly using a cbr reader or unzip them to get the images back. Unlike pdfs, they are lightweight, non-proprietary, and easily reversible with any archiving utility.

These "checksum" files can be used to ensure that the other files were not changed or corrupted accidentally.
